One of the most beautiful cuts of Brazilian rosewood started the project. It was sent to me by my Brazilian rosewood supplier Joao in Early January. It is 41 years old (at least) and has a tap tone to die for. The center part has a dark orange grain that makes you think of a rising sun. Breathtaking to say the least. The Alpine spruce top grew at over 3000 meters in the Italian Alps in Val D'Aosta. It complements the Brazilian rosewood to produce a Fabulous sound. Rich in the basses and with a unique clarity in the mid-high ranges.
Koa bindings to bond the parts and a handmade Russian rosette to decorate the sound hole. An adjustable truss rod allows the player to mount any string and the armrest adds approximately 16 dbs to the powerful 92dbs that this masterpiece puts out at 9 feet from the digital db meter. 650mm radiused fingerboard that is a pleasure to play on.
I mounted a 4 band equalizer/digital tuner that makes her complete for any performing and studio situation. A 1 in a million guitar.
