41 years old Brazilian rosewood super guitar
The set of
Brazilian rosewood that my Brazilian rose supplier sent me from Rio de
Janeiro started the whole project. It is one of 2 of the oldest
sets I have ever seen. Very well
kept and protected with wax all around when I received it. The tap tone
matched the looks perfectly. The tiger like
figuring is quite impressive and
I selected each part to harmonize with the other parts perfectly. The Thai
Amboina burl for the headplate, the Zebra
wood for the bridge and the bindings,
purflings and linings to melt everything together.
The sound is awesome. One of the
best ever, peaking 93dbs only a few minutes after polishing was finished.
The Cedar top vibrates generously
and the whole instrument feels and
sounds fabulous. Without any doubt, one of the best Bellucci guitars to
date.
