This GORGEOUS Bellucci COYOTE concert guitar is a
first class instrument built using Hermann Hauser Sr. 1943 engineering
mixed to the most modern LATTICE BRACING AND a FRAME FOR THE SOUNDBOARD.
The 14 years old air-dried Coyote back and sides of different shades of
yellowish brown and beige makes it VERY CLEAR why the wood is called COYOTE.
Really magical. Depending on the light, the color shifts dramatically
and I took pictures from every angle to show this effect. A first class
tone and an hypnotizing grain make this beauty a true queen, Sober and
elegant worth every compliment.
The Italian spruce adds volume and
sustain
which, coupled with the LATTICE bracing for the top translates in a FABULOUS
sound. The action is tremendously easy because of the gentle radius to
the fingerboard. The lattice bracing adds tremendous volume and projection.
Still, I ship the guitar with armrest, golpeador in case you want to play
Flamenco repertoire. The guitar performs wonderfully in the flamenco style
but you will have to mount the golpeador because the top is lattice.
In the construction I had the sides thinned almost to the thickness of
a Flamenca and the To minimize strain on the hyper thin lattice top, we
mounted a decorated ebony "archtop" style of string tie. We added a touch
of ivory and a 2.5 KT zephyr to commemorate mangore.com 10th anniversary.
My father who is a jeweler sent me the stone from Rome Italy.
The rosette is mother of pearl
along with the delicate work on the fingerboard and ebony bridge. Argentinean
Parini carved gold plated tuners with perloid buttons. Luxury Ebony and
spruce linings and Cocobolo bindings. Nut and saddle are made of
bone.
Regarding 650mm or 640 mm guitar
construction, keep the following rule at hand: If the distance between
the tip of your thumb and the tip of your little finger is equal or less
than 9 in. when fully stretched, use 640 mm. (see image)
The label carries the name of the
buyer at the end of the auction.
Punching-rounded basses accompanied
by the clearest trebles. Maestro Bellucci sets the action personally
to ensure maximum ease of play and fluidity in the most demanding left
hand positions. The guitar projects very well with Either Hannabach or
D'Addario medium or high tension strings. The internal structure of the
guitar that you can see in the picture is built following Greg Smallman's
lattice bracing concepts. Only we used our own version because we do not
like to deal with laminates etc. The guitar is built to last forever
and we used the highest grades of woods. She's being polished
as I write this. BRAND NEW as Brand new casn get ! |
