This instrument sent a wave of excitement throughout the builders community in Asunción. Wonderful, Precious, Magnificent are some of the adjectives that were thrown to this gorgeous Flamenco "Blanca". Spanish cypress (or Coyote) for the back and sides a genial selection of lapacho, bloodwood and ebony for the purflings added the magical touches to what I call with total candidness A JEWEL !
Built following original 1943 Barbero plans (with modifications to the bracing to achieve a faster response) we were able to bring this beauty to life in 10 days.
