Brazilian
rosewood B&S, Western redcedar top
Huge
sound, terrific beauty !
Sober and elegant with a sound that booms majestically
are only a few of the descriptive adjectives that come to mind when looking
and playing this Brazilian rosewood, Western redcedar babe. The 39 years
old set of Brazilian rosewood had a tap tone that immediately gave away
the outstanding instrument that I was going to build. The puma-like figuring
make her feline and the curves, finishing details and setup make her a
MUST have concert guitar. She puts out 92.7 dbs at 9 feet from the digital
db meter. Simply unbelievable. The basses in the performance of Saltarello
ar strong and emanate like roars from a pushing locomotive. The trebles
are sparkling and clear and the melody is ALWAYS dominating the musical
phrases. Gorgeous gold plated tuners with black rollers and carved buttons
along with an exclusive double rosette accompany the finishing details.
The Zebrawood bridge with the fibers perpendicular to the top, make the
soundboard vibrate fully and generously...The action on the radiused 640mm
Macassar ebony fingerboard is fantastic and easy. Do not let this beauty
go !
