Bubinga is a flamed exotic wood, sought by guitar makers and small box builders alike... It is better known as African rosewood. Bubinga is a uniquely reddish brown color, a little heavier than other tropical woods. This magic wood darkens with age. Bubinga produces a bright, clear, ringing tone with a lot of sustain, emphasizing the fundamental note. Beautiful balance in tone and projection are among Bubinga's main characteristics.
This jewel is on her way to las Vegas. I played her last night and the whole spectrum of sound is captivating. Gorgeous mid-tones and ringing trrebles... Round crisp bass. What more can a guitar player ask for?
