concert guitar "La Española" cutaway, on her way to Angola
La Española is a tremendous concert instrument. The Segovia flavor is there and it is simply a pleasure to play. Fantastic sustain, clear trebles and a tremendous ease of paly are the main characteristics of this beauty. Over and over, Bolivian rosewood has turned out to be one of the most rewarding woods for back and sides. We had to build several "Españolas" and we will certainly build more in the future.
The one below was customized for a concert player in Angola. Cutaway, position markers and Fustero tuners were some of his requests.
