 Zebra wood B&S Masterpiece
     This set of Zebra wood is one of the best woods I have ever seen or worked. Simply astonishing. It makes for a fabulous instrument. Rich tones and spectacular sustain. We used ebony purflings and bindings to enhance the beauty and the final result is one of the best instruments EVER. The sound of Zebrawood is similar to Blackwood. The bass has a human like guttural quality which is quite unique and almost exclusive of the african tonewoods in general. The trebles ring clear like bells and sustain is very sharp. The grain is generally not as curly as this particular one, but the resulting instrument is equally striking. My recommendation is to build using a Double top V1 configuration for the top and 2 soundports in the upper bout.
